GT200-BM-2RS Quick Start Guide

Product Appearance

Wiring

  • 1. 1.35mm DIN Rail Installation.
  • 2. Connect the gateway power interface to the power supply.
    Pin Function
    1 Power GND
    2 NC(Not Connected)
    3 24V+,DC Positive 24V
  • 3. Connect the Gateway’s RJ45 interface to the computer with a RJ45 cable.
  • 4. Power on the gateway. Run the SST-BM-CFG to start the gateway configuration.

LED Status Indicators

LED State Description
ENS Green On BACnetIP connection is established
Flashing Green BACnetIP connection is not established
Red On IP Address Conflict
Flashing Red DHCP, BOOTP, IP address conflict detection
SNS Green On BACnetIP connection is established
Flashing Green BACnetIP connection is not established
Flashing red and green alternately Use locating function (User Manual 5.4)
ENS&SNS (Orange) Simultaneously On The gateway is starting up
Flashing Alternately Configuration Mode
Serial I/II TX Flashing Green Serial data sending
OFF No serial data is sending
Serial I/II RX Flashing Green Serial data sending
OFF No serial data is sending

DIP Switch or Function Button

Off  Off  Run Allows to configure.
Off  On  Run Dones not allow to configure
On On/Off   Config IP address is fixed at 192.168.0.188. Allows to configure but no data communication.

 

Software Configuration

  • 1. Run the SST-BM-CFG software installed on your computer.
  • 2. Click "BACnet IP Server" in the tree view on the left, set the Ethernet parameters.
  • 3. Click "Modbus Serial" in the tree view on the left and set the serial communication parameters.
  • 4. Add serial node and commands under the "Modbus Serial".
  • 5. Click download button, select the GT200-BM-2RS model and then click on "Download".

Communication Instructions

  • 1. Connect RS485 serial devices to the gateway serial interface. Please refer to the gateway manual for specific connection methods.
  • 2. Observe the indicator lights to check the communication status.
